Panel Composition

Your Progress Review Panel (PRP) in the School of Languages and Cultures will consist of your advisory team (Principal Advisor and all Associate Advisors), a reader not on your advisory team (typically internal to UQ, with some relevant disciplinary, methodological, or project expertise), and the school Director of HDR (or their representative if this person is otherwise on the panel as an advisor or reader) as Chair.

The advisory team and external reader will read your documents and write a report on them following a school template, will read one another’s reports, and will attend the review meeting. The chair will read but not comment on your documents, but will read the other panellists’ reports and will chair the review meeting. All panellists will ideally attend the oral presentation (in person or remotely).
