Panel Composition
Your Progress Review Panel (PRP) in the School of Education will consist of a Chair who will also act as a reviewer. Where possible, the same person will be Chair for all a candidate’s Progress Reviews and their Chair of Examiners when they proceed to Oral Examination.
For all reviews (R1, R2, R3), the Chair will be assisted by a second reviewer from within the School of Education or wider university where appropriate. Please discuss with your advisory team who might be suitable as your panel members. Your advisory team will approach the potential panel members. Once confirmed, you need to upload their names in the Graduate School system (not yet active, will be active for R3 in 2022).
Start organising your review meeting time early in the research quarter (the meeting can be any time in the last two months of the research quarter). Submit your documents no later than one month into the research quarter (example: if you are due for a progress review in Research Quarter 3, submit your documents by 1 August and organise to meet for your review meeting in either August or September).
