Orientation is 2 weeks of events and activities held every semester for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and HDR candidates.

Faculty welcome sessions
Each faculty hosts welcome sessions for new students. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to find out about your programs, connect with other students, attend expos and social events and get advice from current students and staff.

Orientation event program
O-Week and Connect Week
The orientation event program is split over two weeks, O-Week and Connect Week, and held at the beginning of every semester. Events take place at St Lucia, Herston, Dutton Park and Gatton.
O-Week (15 - 19 July) provides academic activities introducing you to university life.
Connect Week (22 - 26 July) features events and networking opportunities to help you meet and connect with others.
Important dates
8 - 12 July: Graduations period.
22 July: Week 1 commences.
31 August: Semester 2 Census date
