Building/Lab Access | All building/lab access is via swipe with your student ID card, which can be activated by sending your name, student ID and building/room/lab number to eait.facilities@uq.edu.au . Please ensure you have completed all required building/lab inductions prior to requesting access. |
Desk Allocation | The School Manager coordinates space and assigns desks for all HDR students. [more information coming soon] |
Equipment Requests | The standard EAIT PC Desktop package is provided to you (A HDR Liaison Officer will request this on your behalf when processing your commencement) The EAIT Helpdesk will then arrange computer deployment to your desk, and activate your access to the required EAIT systems and accounts. If you require additional equipment (for example, laptops/specific software) please speak to your Principal Advisor. Your Principal Advisor will need to liaise directly with EAIT Helpdesk to make arrangements. |
Health Safety and Wellness Compliance | For general advice on your project, you should contact your advisory team. Please contact the School’s Health Safety and Wellness Officer if you have any concerns or queries about safety at the school. There is also a central Occupational Health Safety and Wellness Unit. |
