Seminar Series/Key Events | You can access all seminars being held at UQ within the coming week, in the broad area of Science. There is also a SENV seminar series, which will be advertised via email. SENV HDR student are encouraged to engage in several school-wide events to promote networking including the Annual Research Showcase and the Annual Postgrad Retreat |
HDR Social Group | SENV has a postgrad association called the School of the Environment Postgrad Association. Committee members join each SENV HDR induction session, to share details on their events. There are also several Discipline-based Student Committees, which may be of interest. |
HDR Funding | HDR funding is available to HDR candidates after Progress Review 1/Confirmation has been completed. You can submit your application online. If you have any questions, please contact your HLO Team at hdr.senv@enquire.uq.edu.au. |
Specialised HDR training | Please discuss HSW requirements with your Principal Advisor. Building and lab HSW inductions and checklists need to be completed prior to any research work being undertaken. |
