Venue doors open approximately 45 minutes before the ceremony start time. Guests who require special assistance in accessing a seat should arrive just before the doors open and see an usher who can help them to a seat.  Please note there is no allocated seating.

Reception

Limited accessible parking bays are available near post ceremony celebrations for people with a mobility impairment.

While these areas will be closed to the general public, people who need to park closer to the post-ceremony celebrations are welcome to do so.

Drivers should speak to Traffic Officers, who can grant access.

Please note that there will also be a shuttle bus running from the UQ Centre to Campbell Place, which will provide step-free access to the Great Court.

Public transport

We recommend using public transport when travelling to St Lucia. Parking is extremely limited.

For 6pm ceremonies, make sure public transport is still running after the reception, so you and your guests can get home safely.

Parking is only permitted in approved zones and fees may apply – you could be fined if you or your guests park in the wrong place.

Some on-campus roads are closed during graduations and parking can be difficult. We recommend planning your journey carefully.
