8. Photography and live stream

Sharing your achievements with your family and friends is an important part of your graduation day.

During the ceremony, each graduand is individually photographed by GFP Events, UQ's official photographers. This includes when you cross the stage toward the Presiding Officer and raise your left hand to your trencher or bonnet.

No other commercial photographers are allowed inside the venue, and guests and graduands aren't allowed to take flash photographs during the ceremony.

You can also have graduation portraits taken before or after your ceremony on campus You can order these prior to graduation day via the GFP Registration Portal.

Live stream

All graduation ceremonies are live-streamed, so family and friends can watch online if they can't attend.
The live-stream video will begin shortly before the scheduled start time of each ceremony.

Watch the live-stream

While we do our best to ensure live streaming is available for every ceremony, technical problems can happen sometimes. To report any issues, contact ITS on (07) 3365 6000 or email help@its.uq.edu.au.
