5. Making upfront payments

Even if you’re eligible for HECS-HELP, you can make a full or partial upfront payment of your student contributions.

Change your payment option

  1. Log in to mySI-net
  2. Go to 'Financials' and check the due date for upfront payments
  3. Go to ‘HECS-HELP eCAF’ and click on ‘Manage HECS-HELP Request’
  4. Follow the steps and submit.

If you haven’t already, please submit your tax file number to ensure your enrolment isn't cancelled if you forget or cannot pay your student contributions upfront in the future. Your tax file number will ensure that a HECS-HELP loan automatically pays any outstanding student contributions.

Make a full or partial payment

  1. Log in to my-net
  2. Go to 'Financials' and check the due date for upfront payments
  3. Go to 'Pay my fees now' in the left side menu
  4. Enter the amount you wish to pay
  5. Follow the steps and submit.
