As you approach the end of your HDR program, here's what you'll need to do to prepare to leave UQ.

Use the following information as a guide to supplement your institute or school's off-boarding process.

7. Update file storage and mySI-net

To ensure your files are still accessible:

  • Confirm with your Principal Advisor where data-set, ethics approval, and participants’ consent forms linked to your project are stored, according to the Research Data Management Policy. The ideal location may be the granting body's project storage software or the Research Data Manager (RDM).
  • Record the file path where you have stored data, ethics approval, participant consent forms, or other research-related data.
  • Remove all personal files from the hard drive of your computer or UQ servers.
  • Note that your personal staff email account will be closed. Once you leave, you'll still be able to access your student email.
  • When you graduate you will only continue to have access to your email account. You will no longer have access to OneDrive or other Microsoft 365 apps.
