Prepare to leave UQ

As you approach the end of your HDR program, here's what you'll need to do to prepare to leave UQ.

Use the following information as a guide to supplement your institute or school's off-boarding process.

  1. Create a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  2. Explore support
  3. Advise UQ staff of your departure date
  4. Check fees and fines
  5. Prepare to finalise your research
  1. Update Researcher IDs and ORCID
  2. Update file storage, email and mySI-net
  3. Return equipment and clean workspaces
  4. Prepare for graduation

4. Check fees and fines

Ensure you have paid any outstanding UQ fees or fines (e.g. library or parking fines). Your degree certificate may not be released if any fees or fines are outstanding.
