2. Supporting evidence

If you experience technical difficulties you need to provide supporting evidence to show what happened.

Your request will be assessed on the evidence you provide and must include:

  • a statement detailing your request
  • relevant supporting evidence

Supporting evidence should be in written English (or translated by a NAATI-accredited translator).

Acceptable supporting evidence

  • Time-stamped photos or screenshots in English. These must show when you started submitting your exam and progress of the online submission up until you successfully submitted your exam. Your name and/or student number needs to be visible in the photos or screenshots.
  • A transcript of your online chat seeking assistance from AskUs, ProctorU, your course coordinator or school.

Unacceptable supporting evidence

  • Photos or screenshots that are not time-stamped.
  • Photos or screenshots that do not show your name and/or student number.
  • Photos or screenshots in a language other than English.
