Degree certificates, transcripts and documents
4. AHEGS
The University began issuing Australian Higher Education Graduation Statements (AHEGS) in December 2010.
The AHEGS is designed to make Australian qualifications recognisable worldwide, by providing easy to understand information about your degree and where you studied.
You’ll receive an AHEGS when you graduate from UQ, along with your academic transcript and testamur.
AHEGS are divided into five sections:
- Section 1: your name and student number
- Section 2: a description of your degree
- Section 3: information about UQ
- Section 4: information about courses you studied and unit values, the grades you achieved and the dates you completed these courses. Your GPA is not included.
- Section 5: a description of the Australian Higher Education system.
Unfortunately, graduates with degrees conferred prior to December 2010 are not eligible to receive an AHEGS.
Electronic AHEGS
If you graduated from December 2010 onwards, you can purchase an electronic My eQuals AHEGS.
The cost of an electronic AHEGS is $15.
Paper AHEGS
A replacement AHEGS contains the same information as the original.
The cost of a paper replacement or additional AHEGS is $25 (plus postage where required). Orders are processed within 3 to 10 working days.
