My eQuals is here.

From December 2017, all new UQ graduates will receive digitally certified copies of their graduation documents within one week of their ceremony.

Documents will be distributed through My eQuals, a secure service used by 47 universities across Australia and New Zealand.

My eQuals is an example of how Australian universities are committed to the Groningen Declaration, which states: "Citizens worldwide should be able to consult and share their authentic educational data with whomever they want, whenever they want, wherever."

My eQuals uses advanced cryptographic security to ensure the integrity of your records and minimise the possibility of document fraud.

You can securely share your documents with third parties, such as employers, registering bodies and other institutions.

New graduates

If you're graduating in the next graduation period, congratulations! You will receive the following digital documents within one week of your ceremony:

  • academic transcript
  • testamur, and
  • Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS).

To access your digital documents, click the link sent to your student email address.

You will need to log in and register an account with the My eQuals website to access your documents. Your initial login is the same as your UQ student login.

Current and past students

From 1 January 2018, current students, past students and past UQ graduates will have the option of purchasing the following digital documents:

  • Academic transcripts: available to all students who have studied since 2000
  • Testamur: available to graduates conferred awards between 2010 and July 2017
  • AHEGS: available to all graduates conferred awards between December 2010 and July 2017. 

eTranscripts

Previously, the University trialled eTranscripts between 2015 and July 2017.

The eTranscript was an electronic version of an official academic transcript. Each eTranscript carried a digital signature that proved its authenticity and integrity.

From December 2017, eTranscripts will no longer be issued and have been replaced with My eQuals transcripts.
