Scholarships for current students

UQ offers more than 300 scholarships and prizes for current UQ students.

Our scholarships are open to domestic and international students, and cover the full range of academic disciplines. There are also scholarships available for more than just academic excellence — covering focus areas like creative or sporting excellence, accommodation and relocation for study, or financial support for under-represented groups.

You may be eligible for more scholarships than you expect. We recommend keeping an eye on the Scholarships website each semester to check which scholarships are open.

School and faculty prizes

Many schools and faculties also award prizes to outstanding students.

These prizes are usually awarded either on the recommendation of academics or because students apply for them.
