Student ID cards

It takes us 24 hours to create your student ID after you've enrolled in mySI-net. Once you've waited 24 hours, collect your ID from campus.

ID card photos

You have two options for your new student ID: you can either upload your own photo at home, or we can take a photo for you when you get to campus.

If you decide to upload your own photo, make sure you wait for it to be approved before you make the trip to campus.

We recommend picking up your ID well before the start of semester (lines can be long, especially during Orientation).

If you've waited 24 hours, come on down – we're ready to issue your card.

Doctor of Medicine students: ID cards for first-year MD students are organised during MD orientation. For further information, contact your faculty.

What to bring

To collect your student ID, all new students, domestic or international, need to show:

  • Proof of identification (a passport or an Australian drivers licence), and
  • Letter of offer (this was emailed to you).

The name on your letter of offer has to match the name on your proof of identification.

External students
