Mnova NMR
Mnova NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) allows visualisation, processing, analysis and reporting of 1D and 2D NMR data, designed to support analytical and organic chemists. UQ’s licence for Mnova NMR includes the qNMR and RM modules. It is available for Microsoft Windows, macOS and Linux through the central licence server.
Accessing Mnova NMR
Mnova NMR is available at locations on the UQ network. You can also get time-limited (up to 90 days) licences for offline use. For Windows computers, Mnova can be installed from the Software Centre (where it is shown as MestReNova). Mac users will need to submit an IT request.
Home use
- Staff: you can use Mnova NMR on your home computer. You can get a time-limited offline licence from the licence server. You need to connect to the server once every 90 days through VPN. Installation files and licence files are available from the UQ Software Licensing website.
- Students: you can use Mnova NMR on your home computer with a time-limited offline licence from the licence server. You need to connect to the server once every 90 days through VPN. Licence files are available from the UQ Software Licensing website.
Conditions of use
Mnova NMR is available at UQ for all faculty, staff and students for the support of teaching and academic research use. It is not for use in commercial applications. You can also download and read the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) (UQ login required) (PDF, 40.3 KB).
UQ’s Mnova NMR licence, which contains qNMR and RM modules, is perpetual (ongoing) and is renewed annually on 1 November.
