Zoom Apps
Zoom Apps are apps you can access and use directly in your Zoom meetings.
Installing Zoom Apps
To install a Zoom App:
- Open the Zoom MarketPlace web page.
- Click the menu icon
on the top right of the page, then select 'Sign In'. - Sign into Zoom.
- Click the search icon on the top right of the page, search for a published app, then select it.
- Select the button to install the app and follow any prompts to complete installation.
Zoom Apps need to be pre-approved before they can be installed. If an app you wish to install has the 'Install' button greyed out, submit an IT request to request approval from ITS.
Using Zoom Apps
When a Zoom meeting is in progress you can use Zoom Apps you've installed:
- Within Zoom, select 'Apps'.
- Click 'Open' on the app you wish to use.
- Select 'Share' to share the app with participants in a similar way to share screen.
- Select 'Send' to invite others to install the Zoom App.
