Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence
Each semester, the Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence is awarded to students who have achieved outstanding results.
To be eligible for a Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence, students must have been:
- enrolled full-time in Semester 1, Semester 2, or Summer Semester, and achieved a minimum GPA of 6.6 in that semester, or
- enrolled part-time (enrolled in at least 6 units in semesters that commenced during the calendar year) and achieved a minimum GPA of 6.6 in that year. Part-time students must not have studied full-time for any portion of the year.
Undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, honours, incoming exchange and study abroad students are all eligible.
The award is listed on your studies report and academic transcript. A certificate or letter of congratulations may also be sent by your faculty. Students don't apply for the award.
