Each semester, the Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence is awarded to students who have achieved outstanding results.

To be eligible for a Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence, students must have either been:

  • enrolled full-time in Semester 1, Semester 2, or Summer Semester, and achieved a minimum GPA of 6.6 in that semester, or
  • enrolled part-time (enrolled in at least 6 units in semesters that commenced during the calendar year) and achieved a minimum GPA of 6.6 in that year. Part-time students must not have studied full-time for any portion of the year.

Undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, honours, and study abroad students are all eligible.

The award is listed on both your studies report and academic transcript. A certificate or letter of congratulations may also be sent by your faculty. Students don't apply for the award.
