Additional in-semester exams

Due to a significant increase in the number of in-semester central examinations, UQ will now hold in-semester exams not just on Saturdays, but also on Friday evenings and Sundays.

Semester 1, in-semester examinations will take place across:

  • Friday 27 March, Saturday 28 March and Sunday 29 March
  • Friday 17 April, Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April
  • Saturday 2 May.

Alternative exam arrangements 

  • In-semester exams: arrangements must be submitted 7 days prior to the exam date. You need to be registered for approved exam adjustments. For information on how to apply, visit my.UQ.
  • End-of-Semester exams: the deadline for new exam adjustments or changes to existing adjustments is 5pm on Friday of Week 8.

Important information

  • Inspera – you must have a suitable laptop with a full battery and the required invigilation browser installed. If you do not have a suitable laptop, you can borrow a laptop from the library.
  • Student ID card – you must present your student ID card to enter your exam.
  • Calculators – The approved calculator for all courses is the Casio FX-82 (any model). Note the Casio FX-8200 AU is not an FX-82 model and will require an 'Approved' sticker. All other calculators from the approved calculator list must be labelled with an official 'UQ approved' sticker. Visit Student Central for assistance.
