Statistica is a data analysis, management, visualisation and mining tool that provides predictive modelling, clustering, classification and data exploration. Statistica is available for Microsoft Windows.

Accessing Statistica

You can use Statistica if you are using a UQ computer. Submit an IT request to get it installed or ask your local desktop support team to install it for you.

Home use

Staff and students can use Statistica at home on privately owned computers under the UQ licence terms.

  • Staff: for UQ work purposes only
  • Students: for study purposes only.

Get your UQ licence for home use from UQ Software Licensing. This software should only be installed on UQ computers through ITS Service Desk. Submit an IT request to have Statistica installed.

Conditions of use

Statistica can be used at UQ (and at home, when authorised) for academic and research purposes only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.

The licence for Statistica is UQ funded and renewed annually on 31 August.
