Home use

SAS is available for use on personal computers using a UQ licence from UQ Software Licensing. This licence is for personal computers only, not UQ-owned computers.

  • Staff: you can use SAS at home for UQ work purposes
  • Students: you can use SAS on your own computer for free. You will need to re-register every year on the licence renewal date.

Conditions of use

SAS can be used at UQ for academic and non-commercial research purposes. You cannot use SAS outside Australia.
