Orientation and settling in

Orientation is 2 weeks of events and activities held every semester for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and HDR candidates.

This is your gateway to essential resources, faculty sessions, orientation events, important services, and deadlines for a successful start at UQ.

Faculty welcome sessions

Each faculty hosts welcome sessions for new students. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to find out about your programs, connect with other students, attend expos and social events and get advice from current students and staff.
