We can't wait for you to join us for Orientation at The University of Queensland! Orientation is full of social and academic activities designed to introduce you to life and study at UQ.

We highly recommend attending Orientation to ensure you are prepared to start your studies. Information provided during Orientation may not be repeated in class. 

How to register for Your Orientation Day

Click on your program (degree) name in the lists below and get your event ticket.

You'll find the name of your program in your offer letter from UQ, or in emails from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

What to expect

Attending this event is vital to ensure you're ready to get started.

Guided by a BEL Buddy student volunteer, you'll:

• Receive essential information about your program (degree) and meet your teachers
• Make friends with your classmates
• Explore important locations around campus
• Enjoy our welcome festival, with free food stalls, student clubs, societies and an Aussie animal exhibit (including a koala!).
