Welcome to the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences.

We’re excited to welcome you for Orientation at The University of Queensland.

You’ll meet your fellow students and find out everything you need to know about life at UQ and what to expect from your program (degree).

Use this page to register for your faculty orientation and your program (degree) information sessions within Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences.

Faculty orientation

We know UQ is big place to navigate so let us help you get off to a great start.

We will provide you with an overview including where your school fits into the faculty and UQ overall. It will be a great opportunity to meet some like-minded students from throughout Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences, and understand how the faculty can support you in your journey.

Faculty Orientation - Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences (HMBS)

This is a required orientation session for all commencing students within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. You can attend either the morning or afternoon session.

Program information sessions

You also need to register to attend your essential program information sessions. These are a fundamental step toward a successful academic journey at UQ.

Select your school and then register for all events that are relevant to your studies - there may be multiple events you need to attend.
