4. Domestic postgraduate coursework students
There are different procedures for changing programs, depending on whether applications for the new program are administered by UQ or by an external body.
Changing programs may cause an increase in your fees. For more information, see the fee schedules or contact Student Fees at fees@uq.edu.au or (07) 3365 2328.
QTAC
Admissions for these programs are administered by the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre:
- Diploma in Arts
- Diploma in Science
- Master of Teaching (Primary)
- Master of Teaching (Secondary)
- Master of Nursing Studies
- Master of Social Work (Qualifying)
To apply for these programs, consult the QTAC website for application procedures and deadlines.
GEMSAS
The Graduate Entry Medical School Admissions System (GEMSAS) administers applications for the Doctor of Medicine.
Apply to GEMSAS for the Doctor of Medicine.
mySI-net
For all other programs, use mySI-net.
- Check the Academic Calendar for Semester 1 and Semester 2 due dates for program change requests through mySI-net.
- Log in to mySI-net.
- Go to 'mySI-net Requests' > 'Program Change Request'.
