This is an optional, but highly recommended orientation session for all commencing students at our Herston Campus, within the School of Dentistry and School of Public Health.

Join us for a relaxed welcome event where you can connect with your peers, meet staff, learn about support services, and settle into campus.
Who should attend
This session is optional but highly recommended for all students commencing their studies at UQ Herston Campus (within School of Dentistry and School of Public Health).
What's involved
Come along to:
- Connect with your new peers and meet the staff who’ll support you throughout your program
- Learn about the key services, spaces, and support available to you at UQ Herston
- Take part in a guided tour of the Herston Library and familiarise yourself with your new campus surroundings
- Enjoy a BBQ, smoothies annd sweet treats

About Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences orientation
Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.
To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:
- a faculty orientation session
- all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
- a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
