Who should attend
This required session is designed for all students commencing in any of the following programs in Sem 1, 2026:
- Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Hons)
- Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences (Hons)
- Bachelor of Health, Sport and Physical Education (Hons)
- Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences (incl. duals)
- Bachelor of Nutrition Sciences/Master of Dietetics Studies
What's involved
This event will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Get comfortable and familiar with tertiary life for the start of the semester
- Meet the Head of School
- Learn general information about HMNS
About Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences orientation
Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.
To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:
- a faculty orientation session
- all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
- a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
