This is a required orientation session for all new students joining the Bachelor of Dental Science (Honourss) and Doctor of Dental Medicine.
What's involved
Explore the School of Dentistry's orientation program:
- Experience a Welcome Tribal Dance and Didgeridoo Show
- Connect with campus at the Herston Mini Expo
- Enjoy a BBQ lunch with your peers
- Engage with a Q&A Student Panel where you can ask all of your questions
These activities will not only introduce you to important aspects of your program but also help you make friends and feel at home in the school.
About Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences orientation
Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.
To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:
- a faculty orientation session
- all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
- a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
