Introduction
As an extension of the orientation session for exchange students, this session will cover all the crucial information you need to prepare for Nursing Clinical-Based Courses.

This session is designed for our incoming nursing exchange students from:
- VID Specialized University (Norway)
- HVL Western Sciences University (Norway)
- University of Pennsylvania (USA)
- University of Virginia (USA)
What's involved
This session will help you get ready for your Nursing studies and make your transition smoother. Please bring your own laptop to this session. The following topics will be covered:
- How to use Blackboard
- Navigating the med Safe platform
- Understanding EPAD
- Australian nursing academic cultural expectations
- Assistance with witnessing and signing your statutatory declaration for placement compliance.

Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.
To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:
