Nursing Exchange Students Orientation
Introduction
Join us for a mandatory session where we will welcome you to the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Work, and begin your exchange program in nursing at UQ.
Who should attend
This session is designed for our incoming nursing exchange students from:
• VID Specialized University (Norway)
• HVL Western Sciences University (Norway)
• University of Pennsylvania (USA)
• University of Virginia (USA)
• UQ students intending on studying abroad
What's involved
This is a mandatory session. This event will provide you with the opportunity to:
• Gain important information about your placements, learning activities, courses (subjects), and supports available at UQ.
• Ask questions
• Meet fellow students
• Engage with your teachers

About Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences orientation
Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.
To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:
- a faculty orientation session
- all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
- a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
