How to activate your student account
Welcome to UQ! We look forward to having you study with us. Now that you've accepted your offer, the next step is to activate your student account so you can complete online orientation through the Starting at UQ website.
I applied through QTAC
To activate your account, log in to Application Services on the QTAC website, click the 'Enrol at UQ' button and follow the steps.
I applied through UQ Online Applications
After you accept your offer, we will send you an email with an account activation link. Click the link in the email and follow the steps.
I studied at UQ College and I'm about to start my UQ program
Use the same username and password as you did at UQ College.
I'm having problems activating my account
If you've already activated your account, but can't remember your password, try resetting it. If that doesn't work, contact AskUs in the UQ Library – they'll get things fixed in no time.
About your student account
Use your student account to log in to campus computers and UQ websites, and access library resources and a range of digital services. Your account includes:
- UQ username and password
- unlimited data each month
- unlimited usage hours
- wifi access on campus
- 100MB disk space.
If you ever have any problems with your student account, contact AskUs in the UQ Library.
Username and password
Your student username begins with a lower case ‘s’ followed by the first 7 digits of your student number.
Use this username to log in to Starting at UQ.
You'll be sent your student username either after you receive or accept your offer.
