Student Relations Network

New to UQ? Expect a call from the Student Relations Network!

The Student Relations Network (SRN) is a network of current students who call new students to welcome them to UQ, answer questions about uni life and provide referrals for further support where needed.

Where possible, you will be assigned a call from an SRN crew member who is currently enrolled in your program. This way, our crew can offer you specific tailored advice for your exact program and courses.

Feel free to ask questions about anything and everything UQ!

Before we call you

If you are an international student, please ensure that you have provided UQ with an Australian phone number (beginning with +61). This makes us more likely to reach you and reduces the chance of you incurring call fees. To update your number, please update the Contact Details section of mySI-net.

We will call you from the phone number: (07) 3335 7061

Please note that this is specifically the SRN’s phone number and is not able to receive incoming calls.

UQ’s primary phone number should be used for general enquiries: (07) 3365 1111

When to expect a call

New domestic and international students can expect to hear from our call crew around three important milestones across  your first semester:

1. Before you start your classes

2. Before the academic census date

3. Near the end of your semester
