How much are my tuition fees?

The University's international tuition fees are governed by the Fee Rules. How your fees are calculated depends on when you commenced your program:

Students who commenced in 2016 or later

Your tuition fees are program-based, which means all courses within your program are charged at the same rate for a given academic year.

Please consult schedule 4 in the Fee Rules for an explanation of how your fees are calculated.

There are a couple of ways you can view or estimate your fees for a given year:

1. Fee Calculator

The Fee Calculator is an app that most students can use to quickly and simply estimate their tuition fees.

First, choose your courses, then follow the instructions on the Fee Calculator page.

2. mySI-net (after enrolling)

You can view your actual fee liability on mySI-net after invoices become available:

  1. Log in to mySI-net.
  2. Click the Financial tab.
  3. The cost for each course will be displayed.

If you change your enrolment, please wait 24 hours for updated fees to appear.

Due dates

For student financial matters, there are two important dates to be aware of:

  1. Due date for the payment of fees. All fees, including tuition fees, have to be paid by this date.
  2. Census Date. All tuition fees and enrolment details are finalised on this date. This is also the last date you can withdraw from courses without incurring any financial penalties.

These dates are listed on the Academic Calendar – but only for standard semesters and trimesters.

Some programs and courses (e.g. medical programs, intensive programs) have unique dates. These are displayed on your student home page in mySI-net.

A $100 late penalty is applied to unpaid fees after the fees due date.

If all your fees aren't paid by Census Date, your enrolment may be cancelled.
