Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) Orientation (Day 1)

Introduction

Welcome to the School of Dentistry.

This required session is designed for all students commencing in the Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Hons) program in Sem 1, 2026.

You will have the opportunity to:

Meet other new students
Hear from key staff like the Head of School, School Teaching & Learning Director, and the Program Convenor
Learn about Student Services and what supports are available
Be introduced to the Australian Dental Association (QLD Branch) (ADAQ)
Receive a school tour

Lunch will also be provided.

Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.

To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:

a faculty orientation session
all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
