Join us for a required orientation session where we will welcome you to the Master of Counselling program within the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Work.

Who should attend

This session is designed for students commencing the Master of Counselling. All new postgraduate coursework students in the Master of Counselling are required to attend, especially if you have not previously studied in the UQ School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work.

What's involved

This orientation session will provide an opportunity to meet staff and fellow students and to learn more about the program structures, placement information, school resources and other program related information.

This event will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Gain important information about your program (degree), courses (subjects), and supports available at UQ.
  • Ask questions
  • Meet fellow students
  • Engage with your teachers

Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.

  • all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
