Join our drop-in session to get answers to all your questions about Nursing and Midwifery placements. These sessions will be held on most days of Orientation Week as follows:

Monday 16 February1-3pm
Tuesday 17 February1-3pm
Wednesday 18 February10am-12pm
Friday 20 February1-3pm

Who should attend 

These drop-in sessions are available to all students commencing Nursing and Midwifery.

What's involved 

These drop-in sessions will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of Orientation Week and will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Obtain guidance around on meeting placement compliance requirements
  • Have any questions answered by our dedicated placement team
  • Ensure you're fully prepared for your placement.
     

About Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences orientation

Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.

To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:

  • a faculty orientation session
  • all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
  • a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
