Introduction

Join us for an afternoon of relaxed conversation and connection with like-minded individuals.

Who should attend

All mature-age students commencing in a HMBS program in Sem 2, 2025.
A ‘mature-age student’ is someone who has not recently graduated from high school. You may have taken a gap year, studied at TAFE, or are looking to change or advance your career. Typically, this means students who are over 21 years of age at the beginning of their undergraduate studies, or over 25 years of age at the beginning of their postgraduate studies.

What's involved

This event will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Meet and mingle with other mature-age students
  • Enjoy complimentary soft drinks and pizza from Pizza Caffe
  • Engage in some interesting discussions, with conversation prompts provided to get you started.

This event is perfect for mature-age students looking to connect with others in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Following this event, all attendees are invited to join our incoming international student cohort at a Welcome to Australia event, with a selection of Aussie cuisine and native wildlife encounters.
