Join us for the HMBS International Student Mixer, an event where you can meet fellow international students and expand your network.
Who should attend
All international students commencing in a HMBS program in Sem 2, 2025.
What's involved
This event will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Connect with your fellow students
- Share your experiences and learn from others
- Participate in fun activities to break the ice
- Win some fantastic prizes
- Indulge in some delicious pizza from Pizza Caffe
Following this event, all attendees will be invited to join our incoming mature-aged cohort at a Welcome to Australia event, with a selection of Aussie cuisine and native wildlife encounters.
About Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences orientation
Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.
To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:
- a faculty orientation session
- all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
- a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
