Course duration

This is a year long course. It commences in Semester 1, 2020 and completes in Semester 2, 2020.

Course description

Students will gain in-depth supervised practice experience in an agency setting, either government or non-government. In the practicum, students will have the opportunity to apply counselling theory, knowledge and skills with clients. To pass this course, students must demonstrate competency in counselling within a range of presenting issues and demonstrate critical reflection on knowledge of theory and issues related to counselling practice and supervision.
