Course description
COMU7301 examines the theory and practice of public relations at a postgraduate level. The course walks students through the process of developing ethical, research based and effective communication programmes and campaigns. Weekly seminars explore relevant theories and their application, research methods, campaign planning techniques, best practice frameworks and case studies drawn from the public relations literature. Students will actively design and mobilise their own communication plans. The aim is to build and maintain meaningful multi stakeholder relationships in the context of fast moving and increasingly complex societies.
