Doctor of Dental Medicine Orientation (Day 1)

Introduction

Welcome to the School of Dentistry.

This is a required information session for new students joining the Doctor of Dental Medicine.

You will have the opportunity to:

Meet other new students
Hear from key staff like the Head of School, the School Teaching & Learning Director, and the Program Convenor
Learn about Herston Student Services
Be introduced to the Australian Dental Association (QLD Branch) (ADAQ)
Receive a school tour

Lunch will also be provided, and a Social Mixer will also be held at the end of the day

Orientation is a program of activities designed to introduce you to live and study at UQ.

To ensure you have the information and tools you need to succeed at UQ, you should attend:

a faculty orientation session
all program (degree) information sessions that are relevant to your studies
a placements information session if you'll need to complete placements as part of your program.
