National Hand Hygiene Initiative (NHHI) modules

All medicine, nursing and midwifery students are required to complete the NHHI Modules. Allied health students attending Queensland Health placements are required to complete these modules as outlined on the Record of allied health student training form.

Note: These modules are not required for dentistry students.

Step 1

The following two modules can be accessed by logging into the National Hand Hygiene Initiative.

Please complete:

1. Hand hygiene for clinical healthcare workers 
2. Basics of infection prevention and control orientation

Registration: Must be your UQ student email address (please use the email format s123456@student.uq.edu.au)

Upload your certificates to the attribute 'UQ - Evidence of NHHI module completion' in InPlace.
