National child safety training
Everybody working or volunteering in an early childhood education and care (ECEC) service regulated under the National Quality Framework (NQF) must complete national child safety training.
Students must complete the foundation training which consists of 2 courses:
- understanding child safety
- understanding and identifying child abuse and neglect.
These foundation training courses are free and delivered online, and it is estimated to take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Step 1
Register for National child safety training and complete the above required courses.
Step 2
Download the Training History Summary and upload it to InPlace by the due date.
