We're hiring: casual graduation staff required for December 2025 and July 2026 ceremonies

The Graduations team is recruiting current students as casual staff to perform crucial functions at graduation ceremonies, including:

• hall usher
• student proctor
• stage/cylinder staff
• certificate table staff
• information/ticket desk.

Availability for December 2025 ceremonies is essential to the role. The dates for the graduation ceremony rounds are:

• December ceremonies: 11-20 December 2025
• July ceremonies: 13-17 July 2026.

Successful applicants may be rostered for both December 2025 and/or July 2026 ceremonies and will have the opportunity to be rostered for future graduation rounds.

About you

To be a successful candidate, you must:

• be currently studying at The University of Queensland. 
• possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to address a broad range of students and stakeholders on a variety of levels 
• demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of deadlines 
• have experience of working in a team, following instructions, and using your initiative to solve problems
• have valid work rights in Australia to apply for this opportunity.
