Feeling anxious when preparing or performing a challenging task is a very common experience. The heart can race, thoughts run wild, stomachs churn or we feel frozen to the spot. This is known as performance anxiety.

With some practical guidance and on-going group support with two UQ Counsellors, you can safely face the anxiety that feels like it is undermining your best self. Step-by-step you will develop the skills to work through the anxious reactions to an important personal project. This group is open to all who seek to develop greater focus and effectiveness in pushing past their performance anxiety.
