There is no mid-year intake into the LLB. Only students who already have a place in the LLB can commence in semester two.

Program rules for the Bachelors of Commerce/Laws (Honours)
To complete the Bachelors of Commerce/Laws (Honours)
To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Commerce/Laws (Honours), a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain 88 units comprising:
- 22 units of compulsory courses from Group 1 of the BCom List (not LAWS1100); and
- 42 units of compulsory courses from Part A of the LLB(Hons) List; and
- either:
- No major: 10 units of electives from Group 3 of the BCom List (not LAWS3100/3101/3102) (6 units must be level 3, & only 2 units may be level 1); or
- Accounting major: 10 units from the Accounting major in Group 2 of the BCom List (ACCT3101/3102/3103/3104 and LAWS5144 plus LAWS4112 in Part A of the LLB(Hons)); or
- Business Information Systems major: 10 units from the Business Information Systems major in Group 2 of the BCom List (plus LAWS5151 towards Part B of the LLB(Hons)); or
- Finance major: 10 units from the Finance major in Group 2 of the BCom List (plus LAWS5144 towards Part B of the LLB(Hons)); and
- 14 units of electives from Part B of the LLB(Hons) List. Must include LAWS5151 for the Business Information Systems major or LAWS5144 for the Finance major. LAWS5144 is not included for an Accounting major.
