Course description
Relationship between politics and philosophy, examines the evolution of political understanding from Plato and Aristotle through the medieval realm to the modern transformation of political understanding and the attempt to situate the political in terms of reason and science. The course will also consider the relevance of this thinking, if any, to contemporary political practice.
