Course description

This course will assist students develop advanced skills in primary health care activities such as health promotion and prevention. Areas such as screening strategies, smoking cessation, nutrition and healthy eating, alcohol management and physical exercise advice and management will be covered. In addition, students will learn to apply the principles of health teaching and adult learning to health promotion.
