Course description

This course builds on the basic interpreting skills developed in CHIN2555 Interpreting 1 to enhance students' interpreting skills between English and Chinese (Mandarin). It focuses on dialogue interpreting and the Code of Ethics for Translators and Interpreters. The course exposes students to a more sophiscated range of subject areas in interpreting including health, law, business and trade. This course may be cancelled if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
